ASUS P750 System ROM Upgrade
Latest WM6 PDA Release from ASUS is 'P750', which has been now know to be plagued with hanging problems and system freezes. Moreover users cannot install any SPB, SPH and lot of other 3rd party softwares on P750 as it causes severe freezing and slowdown. This new device which was rushed up in a race to get it released before upcoming HP 610 series in 2008 has been a huge faliure when it comes to be operational. This ROM Upgrade release just one month after the Device release itself is an attemt from ASUS to save its face, be honest to its customers and admit and rectify its problems in this device.

Caution:
1. Please check your extended ROM version from start/setting/system/system info/version and then start upgrade your P750 to latest firmware version. If there is no Extended ROM version, please hard reset your unit and then check the Extended ROM appears to start upgrade. Do not upgrade your P750 with out extended ROM version. In this situation, please contact your retailer or send your unit to our service center. Local engineer will help you upgrade your P750 firmware to latest one.
2. Do not interrupt the upgrade process and avoid touching keypad and screen when upgrading.
3. It is recommended to format SD card into FAT format.
4. Please make sure battery level is above 60%
5. Please make sure to use SD card with capacity 2G or less for upgrade.
6. Please make sure that there is no other folder named "2577".
7. If such folder exists, please rename it to a different name then change it back after upgrade.
Please follow below procedures to upgrade:
1. Please restart your P750 and turn off all wireless connection from start/setting/connection/wireless manager.
2. Power in adapter.
3. Unzip and copy all the files and folders (2577, AsusP750.cap, GPSFirmwareUpdate, PegasusP.cap, RadioFirmwareUpdate) into the root directory of a Micro-SD card(Non-SDHC).
4. Insert the Micro SD card to the device and wait for the Autorun.exe to run(It might takes few seconds).
5. If the Autorun.exe does not run automatically, please launch it from \Storage Card\2577\.
6. Follow the instructions until the updating is finished. The whole upgrade process should take about ten minutes.
7. Please Confirm version in "Start"=>"Setting"=>"System"=>"System Information"=>"Version".
